Does ANTI-FRIZZ BY YUKO® work on any type of hair?Yes, ANTI-FRIZZ BY YUKO works on any type of hair, especially processed and highly damaged hair. This treatment can be performed on hair with previous bleaching, colouring, Relaxer, Brazilian/Keratin Treatment or Japanese hair straightening as well. We do, however, suggest waiting 2 weeks after the hair is coloured/highlighted before this treatment is done.

How long does it take, and how long will the results last?Service time, on average, is 3-4hours. This varies of course due to hair length, thickness, etc. Results of ANTI-FRIZZ BY YUKO will last on average 3 months. We recommend that you get touch-ups every 3-5 months, when the coating naturally washes away. Better after care regimens will results in longer lasting results. This is why we include our recommended Shampoo and Conditioner as part of your service, and can prescribe additional haircare dependent on specific hair needs and lifestyle.

How is this treatment different from Brazilian/Keratin treatments?You may find the results and benefits similar... However, the positive feedback from clients after Yuko Anti-Frizz stands out way ahead of other Keratin Treatments and Brazilian Smoothing on the current market. Secondly, the Ingredients are carefully formulated with hair, scalp, and physical health as paramount. Anti-Frizz by YUKO, unlike the Brazilian/Keratin Treatments, does not contain formaldehyde, formalin or any other chemicals that can release harmful gases. The procedure for Anti-Frizz by YUKO utilizes 2 solutions, containing natural ingredients, whilst most Brazilian/Keratin Treatments use only 1 solution, sometimes containing quite aggressive and noxious ingredients.

What type of results can I expect in my hair?There is some ability to customise the in-salon treatment process to fit your desired results. We often use the analogy of 'like your hair strands have been individually laminated'. The treated hair will be smoother and more manageable, reflect more shine, and reduce the 'puffy', 'dry', or 'frizzy' texture that hair is susceptible to from heat, chemical, and environmental influence. For hair that is curly or wavy, the pattern will become looser/softer, but will retain some body and waves.
