Before we start,
we establish the plan.
Your hair history, current condition and the result you want all shape the plan. Just as important are your lifestyle, maintenance preferences and how you want your hair to feel day to day.

That may mean refining the shape without taking off more length than needed, strengthening the hair before lightening, or choosing a smoothing option that controls frizz without flattening movement.

Cutting appointments cover regular maintenance, precision haircuts and complete restyles across short, medium and long hair. This may include bobs, crops, fringes, layering, shape correction, weight removal, curly or textured hair, and support through the process of growing a style out.

Appointments are booked according to the time and level of change involved, rather than gender or a predetermined style. The shape is planned around your features, natural movement, density, styling routine and maintenance preferences, with advice on length, fringe suitability and home styling where useful.

02 | Colour
Colour appointments cover root maintenance, grey coverage, all-over permanent and demi-permanent colour, and refreshing existing brunette, copper, red or deeper tones from roots through to ends. Colour can restore depth, richness and shine, rebalance faded or uneven areas, or create a noticeable tonal change without adding highlights.

The approach takes into account your natural colour, previous colour history, condition, porosity and preferred level of maintenance. Regrowth appointments maintain an established colour at the roots, while a full refresh restores or adjusts the colour through the lengths and ends. Highlights, balayage and other lightening services are covered separately.

03 | Lightening
This category covers regular highlight and/or lowlight maintenance, as well as more extensive or specialised lightening work. From traditional foils, microfoils and babylights to back-to-back foiling, AirTouch, French balayage and other freehand methods, the technique or combination of techniques is chosen for the result required rather than treated as a fixed look.

Lightening can be used to create high-impact, high-coverage blondes; maintain a familiar half-head foil pattern; soften the transition of natural grey; add face-framing pieces; create lived-in blondes with softer regrowth; introduce a root shadow or root stretch for a lower-maintenance finish; bring dimension to brunettes; or create tonal variation through copper and red shades. Placement, lift and tone are considered together, with the appointment shaped around your existing colour, haircut, hair condition and preferred level of maintenance.

04 | Anti-frizz Smoothing
YUKO Anti-Frizz is a semi-permanent Japanese smoothing service for anyone wanting less frizz, puffiness or flyaways, or to reduce the amount of blow-drying and hot-tool styling needed at home. It can be used across hair types and textures, with the finish tailored to your hair and how much natural movement you want to retain.

Rather than prescribing one result, the service may be used to calm hair expansion, improve surface smoothness, make curls or waves easier to manage, or create a sleeker finish. Your length, density, condition, previous colour and chemical history determine the appointment time and the result that can reasonably be expected.

YUKO describes the system as a semi-permanent Japanese anti-frizz treatment intended to improve manageability and healthy-looking smoothness across hair types.

05 | Transformations
Transformation appointments are extended 5- or 8-hour blocks for work that does not fit neatly into a standard service. This may include a major colour change, colour correction, going lighter from a dark or previously coloured base, returning tinted hair towards a natural or grey-blended result, creative colour, or a combined cut and colour restyle.

The time is reserved rather than tied to one predetermined outcome. Your colour history, current condition, starting point and priorities determine the plan—and what can reasonably be achieved while protecting the hair. Some changes can be completed in one appointment; others are better approached in stages. A consultation is recommended before booking to confirm the timing, cost and most realistic way forward.
